Stripy Horse was an instant hit, especially with younger children, who loved his bold, bright colours. Karen Wall and I thought he’d be perfect as a baby-book character, and set about creating a series of board books with white page backgrounds, that would really show off his stripes.

With a simple rhyming text, these short stories follow Stripy Horse and his friends as they learn all about actions, opposites, textures and colours.
